Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital North

As part of the BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay area, St. Joseph’s Hospital North is a full-service community hospital located in Lutz, Florida. The PGY1 residency program is designed to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education in order to develop residents into clinical pharmacists providing safe and effective patient care to a diverse range of patients. Residents will ultimately be prepared to pursue board certification and will be eligible for future PGY2 residency training.

Requirements for Acceptance:

  • Online application through PhORCAS
  • Letter of intent
  • Current Curriculum Vitae
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official transcript from all colleges of pharmacy attended
  • Possession of a PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
  • On-site interview
