• 2023 Get with the Guidelines–Silver Plus Achievement for stroke care: Bartow Regional Medical Center, Mease Dunedin Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital-South.

DNV GL HEALTHCARE STROKE CERTIFICATIONS

• Morton Plant Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital received certification as Comprehensive Stroke Centers, reflecting the highest level of competence for treatment of serious stroke events.
• Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, South Florida Baptist Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, St. Joseph’s Hospital-North and St. Anthony’s Hospital received Primary Stroke Certification, affirming their readiness to handle a full range of stroke-related medical problems.
• BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, Bardmoor Emergency Center and Bartow Regional Medical Center received certification as Acute Stroke Ready Centers, signifying their ability to diagnose, stabilize, treat and transfer most patients with stroke.

AMERICAN NURSES CREDENTIALING CENTER

BayCare’s Ambulatory Surgery Centers in 2023 became the first outpatient surgery centers in the U.S. to receive the Pathway to Excellence designation for superior clinical work environments, joining the majority of BayCare hospitals that have the designation.
