Breast Ultrasound

A breast ultrasound is an imaging test of the breasts. A gel is put on breast skin. A hand-held device is moved across the breasts. The device transmits sound waves to breast tissue. The sound waves make an image visible on a computer. Breast ultrasounds are performed if lumps are found, if there is a nipple discharge or if there is an out-of-the-ordinary mammogram.

If you would like to schedule an imaging exam, please schedule online or call (855) 269-4333. To find an imaging center near you, please view our locations.
