Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on improving strength, mobility, balance, and stamina to achieve the safest and highest level of independence in performing activities of daily living skills (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding. Occupational therapy also incorporates cognitive and visual-perceptual therapy to improve sensory and motor ability. The use of adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques are part of safety training in occupational therapy.
