Gait Evaluation

Gait evaluation examines the mechanics of a person's standing, walking and running by visually recording and taking a series of computerized measurements while the individual stands, walks or runs on a sensor track. These measurements are useful in diagnosing the cause of ankle, back, foot, hip, knee and leg pain and determining the proper course of treatment. Gait evaluation has proven particularly useful for sports-related injuries, injury prevention and with diabetic patients for the prevention of diabetic foot.
