Clinical Quality at St. Joseph's Hospital

In the 100 Top Hospitals® 2023 national report, St. Joseph’s Hospital ranked in the 89th percentile overall in quality of care including performance over the 88th percentile in patient experience, inpatient mortality and 30-day mortality in high risk patients. This performance is compared to 243 other large hospitals across the country. In support of our philosophy of continuous improvement, we are also proud that this achievement represents us placing over the 90th percentile in continuous improvement 30-day mortality and over the 84th percentile in reducing costs to Medicare beneficiaries over the last five years. St. Joseph's Hospital was also a WINNER in the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® 2023 report ranking in the 98th percentile for cardiovascular services including care for heart attack, heart failure, open heart surgery and interventional heart procedures.
