Services Offered
Care Tailored for Your Child
No two children are alike. That’s why we get to know your child and family so we can understand your unique needs. Some of the services we provide include:
- Care for illnesses and injuries
- Developmental assessments
- Evaluations for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Safety counseling on topics ranging from childproofing your home to the many stresses teens face
- Same-day appointments
- Screenings for depression, anxiety and other behavioral health concerns
- School and sports physicals, including EKG screenings
- Vaccinations
- Well-child visits
It's important to stay on schedule with recommended checkups. When we see your child regularly, we’re more likely to notice subtle changes in their physical or emotional health. Doing so enables us to intervene early, before a condition or concern progresses. These general visits also give us the time to talk with you about what to expect as your child grows and answer any questions you have.
Behavioral Health Care for Children
How your child feels mentally and emotionally is just as important as their physical health. Behavioral health assessments are a routine part of care. We want to know how your child is doing in school and what their social life is like.
If we diagnose attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression or another issue, we can usually manage the condition. Treatment options may include therapies, referrals to BayCare Kids behavioral health services or medications. Some of our pediatricians are also certified to do autism testing. If your child is diagnosed, any of our primary care providers can provide follow-up care and ongoing management.

Connection to an Integrated Health System
BayCare Kids offers a full spectrum of pediatric services, from laboratory testing and medical imaging to specialty cardiology, neurosciences and cancer care. No matter the need, our primary care providers can connect your child quickly and easily with the care they need and access results through our shared medical record. We also partner with other BayCare programs to make services available in our offices, such as car seat assessments and EKG screenings.
Our Providers

Our pediatricians are board certified and have years of experience caring for children from infancy to college. Their training gives them a deep understanding of children’s health and prevention strategies. Advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who specialize in pediatrics are also part of our primary care team. These skilled, compassionate professionals manage their own patients and work with our pediatricians to ensure coordinated, continuous care.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Does my child need to be seen right away?
This is one of the most common questions parents have. Unless it’s a true emergency, we recommend you call us first. We can help figure out the right level of care for your child, whether that’s a same-day appointment, video visit or trip to an urgent care clinic or emergency room. In some cases, the right care is something you can do at home, and we’ll follow up with you at your next routine visit.
-
If I’m expecting or looking for a new provider for my child, can I schedule a consultation to see if a provider is a good fit?
Yes, we encourage you to meet us before making a decision. Your relationship with your child’s provider is one you’ll have for years. An initial consultation to make sure you connect with them can make a meaningful difference in the years to come.
-
Do you have a recommended vaccine schedule?
Yes, we follow the vaccination recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
-
