Behavioral Hearing Test

A behavioral hearing test determines the faintest tones a child can hear at frequencies from low to high. Ear phones, sound booths and calibrated speakers are ways this test can be conducted. This is done when a child is 0 to 5 months and the child's hearing is based on their behavioral reactions, movement or eyes widening upon hearing a sound.
