Alyssa Ta, MD

Alyssa Ta, MD is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Biology at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and her Doctor of Medicine from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed her internship and residency at the State University of New York in Buffalo where she was awarded the Haluk Caglar Award for Excellence in Gynecologic Oncology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award for Excellence in Gynecologic Laparoscopy.

Dr. Ta spent eight years in private practice prior to joining HealthPoint.  Dr. Ta's clinical interests include pelvic surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  Dr. Ta is conversant in Vietnamese.

Ana Verdeja, MD

Ana Verdeja, M.D., joined the staff of South Florida Baptist Hospital in 2000. She is  board-certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.

Dr. Verdeja, who is also fluent in Spanish, is a volunteer with the San Jose Mission and is involved with the Pregnancy Care Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.

Carlos Lamoutte, MD

Carlos Lamoutte, M.D., joined the staff of South Florida Baptist Hospital in 2000. He is board-certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Florida Medical Association.

Dr. Lamoutte is fluent in Spanish to better serve Hispanic patients. He is a volunteer physician with the San Jose Mission and serves on the advisory board of the Pregnancy Care Center. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
