BayCare to Air Unique Commercials Aimed at Men's Health During Super Bowl
Super Bowl is not just about the big game. It’s also about the television commercials.
That’s why BayCare is excited to introduce a series of unique commercials that will debut on Sunday, Feb. 2 on FOX during Super Bowl LIV.
BayCare plans to air seven different spots that will kick off a new Humanity at Work campaign called “Do It for Them” aimed at Men’s Health. Research shows that men are less likely to visit the doctor.
Each commercial features a Tampa Bay resident talking to an important man in his or her life and asking them to go see the doctor. They make the point: If you won’t do it for yourself, do it for all your loved ones. View all the commercials here.
“Data shows that 60 percent of men don’t go see a doctor regularly,” said Brian McDaniel, MD, primary care physician at BayCare. “Through this campaign, we're hoping to encourage men to find a personal physician and receive regular physical check-ups to help with prevention and early intervention.”
The men addressed in each spot weren’t aware of the commercial’s content until family members shared the spots with them last week, in advance of the big game. BayCare arranged to film the men’s reactions as they watch the commercial for the first time. Watch all of their reactions here.
BayCare has also shared the reaction videos on social media channels using the hashtags #DoItForThem #SuperBowlLIV #BayCare.
