Winter Haven Women's Hospital OB Mom and Baby room

Winter Haven Women's Hospital is a 61-bed specialty hospital dedicated to the unique needs of women and newborns. Our facility is equipped with the latest medical technology. Winter Haven Women’s Hospital is also designated as a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to ensure special, around-the-clock care by highly trained neonatologists. Our family-centered maternity unit provides individualized care and a comforting environment for the whole family.

Because we are committed to offering breastfeeding mothers the information, skills and support needed to successfully initiate and continue breastfeeding their babies, the World Health Organization and United Nations Children's Fund has designated Winter Haven Women’s Hospital as a UNICEF "Baby-FriendlyTM" birth facility. A Baby-Friendly facility promotes and supports breastfeeding by empowering mothers to give their infant the best possible start in life. We're proud to be part of this international initiative and of the expertise and resources we can offer you with your breastfeeding efforts.

The Obstetric Urgent Care Center at Winter Haven Women’s Hospital is now open 24/7. The triage area in this newly dedicated space has the capacity to serve the obstetric care needs of twice as many patients.
