Patients diagnosed with gynecological cancer, including ovarian and uterine tumors, are treated by an expert team of oncologists, radiologists and surgeons at St. Joseph’s Hospital-North’s Adult Infusion Center. The Infusion Center is a community resource dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients.

The length of each infusion therapy session varies based on the specific treatment needed and personal circumstances of each cancer patient, but each patient will experience a relaxing atmosphere at our infusion center that includes:

  • Private and comfortable infusion areas
  • Space for a relative or friend
  • Individual TVs
  • Wi-Fi access
  • Refreshments, snacks and warm blankets for patients
  • Easy parking and valet
  • Full-service hospital access, in case of emergency
  • Oncology and chemotherapy certified nurses
  • On-site pharmacy

Gynecological Surgery

For patients requiring gynecologic procedures such as hysterectomies, infertility workups and laparoscopic procedures, St. Joseph’s Hospital-North has experienced surgeons, advanced nursing care and patient monitoring.  You’ll not only be in good hands but you’ll recover in a spacious, private room designed for peace, calm and healing.

Surgeons at St. Joseph’s Hospital-North can perform some gynecological procedures robotically, which is a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery and offers many benefits to patients including less pain, a faster recovery, shorter hospital stay, less risk of infection and smaller scar. Surgeons also benefit from robotic surgery by gaining a high-resolution visual field, enhanced dexterity and better access to surgical sites.

Some patients require pelvic floor rehabilitation after surgery. Ask your physician about a referral to one of our specialists or one of our pelvic rehabilitation centers. The Pelvic Health and Wellness program also offers conservative treatments for pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, painful intercourse and other pelvic floor issues.
