Blue Distinction® Center for Knee and Hip Replacement
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association recognizes St. Anthony's Hospital's Center of Excellence in Orthopedics as a Blue Distinction® Center for Knee and Hip Replacement. Hospitals receiving this designation demonstrate outstanding care and safety, which results in better patient outcomes. To receive this recognition, hospitals are evaluated based on objective, evidence-based information in association with feedback from the medical community. St. Anthony's Hospital is the only hospital in St. Petersburg to receive this distinction for inpatient knee and hip replacements including total knee and hip replacement surgeries.
