St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is a leading center for the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions in patients ranging from babies still in the womb to adults, performing more cardiovascular surgeries than any other hospital in Tampa Bay.  We are Tampa Bay's primary referral source for pediatric heart surgery and treatment of congenital heart defects before and after birth. We are known nationally as a comprehensive center for children with single ventricle heart disease, specializing in simple and complex forms of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).  Our care may include 24-hour Holter and event monitoring, in-depth diagnostic testing or evaluation for pacemaker implantation.
