Diagnostic testing services for ear, nose and throat conditions include:

  • Balance testing: Measures balance control and coordinated movements
  • Ear drainage culture: Checks for infection-causing substances in the ear
  • Esophagoscopy: Examines the inside of the esophagus using a thin tube and video camera
  • Laryngoscopy: Examines the larynx (voice box) using a small mirror or flexible viewing tube
  • Nasal mucosal biopsy: Tests a small sample of inner ear tissue for disease
  • Rapid strep test: Test to detect the most common form of strep throat, group A streptococcus
