Specialized Sports Medicine Equipment
Morton Plant North Bay Hospital has specialized equipment and program plans that cater to those rehabilitating sports-related injuries. Wii therapy can help improve balance and joint motion by playing interactive games. This type of therapy helps patients with range of motion and coordination exercises while having fun at the same time. Games are chosen based on patient's specific needs. Metronome training uses music metronome technology to improve attention, cognition and motor skills. It can be utilized for a broad spectrum of diagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury and limb amputations.
