Joint Commission Accreditation

BayCare Alliant Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is Medicare-certified. The Joint Commission is an independent not-for-profit organization which accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs in the United States. This accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

Energy Star

For the second year in a row, BayCare Alliant/Mease Dunedin Hospital has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) prestigious ENERGY STAR, the national symbol for protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency. 

Patient Satisfaction

In our efforts to achieve and maintain a high degree of patient satisfaction at Alliant Hospital, we implemented an Ambassador Program.  As a result, every patient is visited by a member of the BayCare Alliant Hospital Administrative Team when first admitted, weekly and at discharge. Patients also receive a phone call two to three days post-discharge to assess how the discharge process went. Our goal is to make sure we are meeting the needs of our patients. While the Ambassador is meeting with the patient and/or family members, the following questions are asked:

1. Did your admission process go smoothly?
2. Did you receive an orientation to your room?
3. Are you satisfied with the cleanness of your room?
4. Has the staff met your expectations?
5. Has your physician kept you informed?
6.  Has your call bell been answered in a timely fashion?
7. Have you received timely help when you are in pain
8. Are you satisfied with the meal service?
