Definitions

Physician Sponsored Student (PSS)- a student or visiting resident participating in a school program and is required to have a physician sponsor

Students - a school program member who obtains training at a BayCare rotation site pursuant to a BayCare Affiliation Agreement and upon completion of the onboarding process

Facility - the BayCare rotation site where the student will complete school requirements and receive guided instruction in accordance with the site-appropriate policies and procedures

Sponsorship of a Credentialed Physician - Sponsoring Physician is an active member of the medical staff, in good standing, and accountable for the student

Visiting Resident - a resident who is completing a one-year or less rotation at a BayCare facility as part of their training
