Did You Know That We Offer Classes for More Than Just Mom?

While you might have already looked into some of BayCare’s classes on pregnancy, labor and delivery, breastfeeding and other mom-related subjects, you might not realize that we offer lots of great classes for other members of the family.

Boot Camp for New Dads

This class is for expectant dads only. A certified facilitator will teach new dads how to bond with and care for baby, survive the first weeks, support mom and more. Topics covered will include fatherhood, life changes, relationship changes and hands-on experience. Past participant dads return with their infants to give helpful tips.

Sibling Class

This fun class is for expectant siblings of all ages and addresses the joys and challenges of this important experience. Becoming a big brother or sister can be both exciting and stressful for a child. At least one parent must attend with the child and both parents are welcome.

Car Seat 101

This safety class covers all four stages of child passenger safety from birth to older children. Caregivers will be educated on the correct use and installation of car seats including rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats. The class also includes an inspection of one car seat per couple.
