Recipe: Overnight Oats with Blueberries
Looking for a breakfast routine that combines grab-and-go convenience with great taste and nutrition? Overnight oats might be just the thing. Made from scratch the night before, overnight oats are easier on the budget than pre-packaged breakfast foods, and they only contain the wholesome ingredients you choose. In the morning, you’ll have a hearty meal you can grab on your way out the door, with no heating required.
Our recipe is loaded with superfoods like whole grain oats, antioxidant-rich berries and energy-boosting chia. For a flavor boost, try using frozen berries—as they thaw overnight, they’ll infuse their tasty juices right into the oats!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup oats
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 drops vanilla stevia
- ¾ cup vanilla almond milk, unsweetened
- ¼ cup blueberries
- ¼ cup strawberries
Mix oats and chia seeds together in a mason jar. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well so that all ingredients are covered with almond milk. Close the mason jar and put in the refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight. Wake up and enjoy!
