Gina Jackson, BSN, RN

Gina Jackson is a Registered Nurse and the Manager of the Mease Bariatric Program which includes: Mease Dunedin Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital and Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. Gina provides education, compassion, guidance, and encouragement to patients throughout their weight loss journey. In addition to helping patients meet their weight loss goals, she also coordinates and participates in a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks related to the constant improvement of the bariatric surgery program. To uphold the advancement of safe, high-quality care for our bariatric surgical patients, Gina ensures that our bariatric surgery programs adhere to all of the national quality standards laid out by the MBSAQIP (Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program).

Gina graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Associate of Science in Nursing and Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Gina is a member of the Florida Nurses Association (FNA), the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
