Artificial intelligence (AI) is improving health care in ways that many patients may not realize. Instead, they serve as an additional resource that supports informed decisions about patient care and may contribute to earlier diagnoses and faster treatment decisions.

Patients still depend on the judgment, experience and compassion of the health care professionals who use these tools. That's where the human element continues to matter most."
