BayCare Names John J. Loetscher Vice President of Facilities, Construction and Physical Security

John J. Loetscher has been named BayCare's new vice president of facilities, construction and physical security.

 

BayCare announced today that it has named John J. Loetscher its new vice president of facilities, construction and physical security. 

Loetscher comes to BayCare from Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he has served as vice president of facilities, construction and support services since 2015. 

In his role, Loetscher will develop and manage relationships both internally and with BayCare’s affiliates in facilities management, construction and security. He will ensure that BayCare facilities meet regulatory compliance, construction projects are completed on time and within budget; and work with project executives in the planning and execution of all building projects and major renovations. Additionally, Loetscher will head facilities, construction and security-related improvement initiatives and establish a maintenance and facility plan.

“I am excited to have John join our BayCare as he will be an asset to our leadership team,” said BayCare Chief Administrative Officer Tim Thompson. “He brings a strong background in facilities, security and construction and will be a key to BayCare’s success as we continue to grow.”

Loetscher John worked as George Washington University Hospital’s director of facilities management from 2013 – 2015, and as Georgetown Hospital’s director of facilities management from 2011 – 2013, both in Washington, D.C. He held facilities roles with Forum Health Trumbell Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio, serving as its director of engineering & security from 2004 – 2011, and as Southhampton Hospital’s director of plant operations and maintenance in Southhampton, New York, from 1998 – 2004.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Shelton College in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
