BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Dr. Aric Tucker

TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 16, 2022) - Aric Tucker, DO, has joined BayCare Medical Group at 4301 N. Habana Ave. He joins Dr. Ashley Davis-Yadley and Dr. Javier Nieves-Costas at the practice. Dr. Tucker is board certified in internal medicine and fellowship-trained in gastroenterology and is accepting new patients, 18 and older. He is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Dr. Tucker is equipped to handle the broad and comprehensive spectrum of illnesses that affect adults. He provides diagnosis in the treatment of chronic illness while promoting health, disease prevention and patient well-being. 

Dr. Tucker concentrates his practice on diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. He is certified in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support and is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology. 

He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale.  He then completed an internal medicine residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. Dr. Tucker continued his medical education by completing a fellowship in gastroenterology at USF Morsani College of Medicine/Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson.
