BayCare Provides Functional Movement Assessment for the Community
Do you have all the right moves? Find out with a free screening from BayCare.
The South Florida Baptist Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center at BayCare HealthHub (Bloomingdale) provides a 30-minute functional movement screening to anyone who wants to assess their untapped motion potential.
The functional movement screening helps evaluate movement patterns in people who don’t have a current pain complaint or musculoskeletal injury. The examination can identify problems that may be overlooked during traditional medical and performance evaluations.
“We’re excited to provide this service to our community,” said David Davenport, manager of Rehabilitation Services at South Florida Baptist Hospital. “This program is helpful to many including athletes, active individuals as well as firefighters, police officers and military personnel.”
The functional movement screening is available by appointment and preregistration is required. To sign up, click here.
