St. Joseph’s Hospital-South Invites Community to Birthday Celebration

Tampa, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2020) – St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview is turning 5 years old and invites the community to help celebrate the milestone during a free event on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The celebration has something for the entire family and will be held at the St. Joseph’s Hospital-South campus, 6901 Simmons Loop, Riverview.

Children’s events include:

• Kids’ activities, games and DJ
• Free face painting
• Teddy Bear clinic with a free teddy bear
• A real fire truck to explore
• A visit from St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital’s “UnMonsters,” friendly characters who take the fear out of hospitals

Adult events include:

• Farmer’s Market with more than 60 vendors selling fresh produce and locally made food and goods
• Complimentary coffee cart
• A raffle to win a free membership to the BayHealthHub™ fitness center in Bloomingdale

Food trucks, snacks and refreshments will be available. Free tote bags will be given to the first 250 guests (one bag per family). 

The BayCare screening bus will be available for health assessments. St. Joseph’s Hospital-South and BayCare Medical Group adult physicians and pediatric physicians will attend and participate in “Ask-a-Doc” sessions. St. Joseph’s Hospital-South will also provide information about its services and events and affiliated physicians.
