Hector Velez-Camacho, M.D., Joins BayCare Medical Group
Tampa, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2019) – Neurologist Hector Velez-Camacho, M.D., has joined BayCare Medical Group in Riverview, FL. He is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital-South.
As a board-certified neurologist, Dr. Velez-Camacho’s clinical interests include general neurology, epilepsy, headaches, memory problems and movement disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Velez-Camacho completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce, PR, and continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine internship and neurology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, Miami, FL. Dr. Velez-Camacho completed a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at New York University medical Center, New York, NY.
