CLEARWATER, Fla., (September 12, 2018) – Family medicine physician Derek Dillon, DO, has joined BayCare Medical Group and is accepting new patients at BayCare Medical Group Primary Care,1022 Main St, Suite M, Dunedin.A former aerospace engineer, Dr. Dillon brings his analytical, problem-solving background to his medical practice, viewing each patient as a whole instead of a single symptom to be treated.
Dr. Dillon’s services include treatment of cold and flu, health screenings, physicals, inoculations, trigger point injections, joint injections, disease prevention, health promotion and osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT). His clinical interests include OMT, preventive medicine and sports medicine.
After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Dr. Dillon completed a family medicine and osteopathic manipulative therapy residency at Largo Medical Center, where he was chief resident.
