BayCare Brings New Fitness Center into HealthHub Facility

The Organization Launches Membership Sales for Local Residents

Clearwater, Fla., (November 27, 2018) –Valrico residents who have been wishing for a world-class fitness center, no longer have to wait. BayCare Health System is bringing a new Fitness Center inside BayCare HealthHub™ at Bloomingdale in Valrico – a health and wellness destination for residents in the greater Brandon area and surrounding communities.

BayCare Fitness Center (Bloomingdale), which is expected to open in spring 2019, will be a 20,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility designed to provide services focused on whole body health and wellness.

The fitness center, managed by EXOS – a global leader in human performance and fitness management, will incorporate wellness high-tech tools through web, mobile and in-person experiences. The facility will include the latest cardio and strength equipment, personal training, a free fitness tracker for members, more than 50 group exercise classes per week (including barre and yoga), separate yoga and cycling studios, fully equipped locker rooms and nutrition and meal planning services with a certified registered dietitian. On-site child care services will be available for an additional fee.

At the heart of a holistic approach to fitness will be the Four Pillars Methodology – Mindset, Nutrition, Movement and Recovery. Using these pillars as a guide, members will be offered a customized experience to support them through their journey and provide them the tools to feel and perform at their best.

Ahead of the opening, BayCare Fitness Center (Bloomingdale) has launched its membership sales for residents in the Valrico area. The membership pre-sale will run until the facility opens.

To sign up, the residents can visit the BayCare membership bus located on S. Miller Road, just northeast of Lithia Pinecrest Rd (right next to the shopping center). Bus hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more, residents can also call at (813) 586-8600.

The new fitness center will be part of the BayCare HealthHub™ at Bloomingdale. The health and wellness destination integrates traditional health care services such as primary care, pediatrics, rehabilitation, imaging and laboratories with fitness classes, nutrition education and like-minded retailers to promote healthy living. BayCare HealthHub™ at Bloomingdale, located at 2470 Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico, Florida, is scheduled to open March 2019.
