St. Anthony’s Hospital Invites Community to Health Seminars 

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (July 23, 2018) - St. Anthony’s Hospital health experts invite the community to attend seminars in August that will focus on weight loss surgery information and smoking cessation. There also will be free memory screenings offered. The monthly seminars are free to the public. 


Weight Loss Surgery Information
Tuesday, Aug. 7
Noon
LifeHelp Second Floor Classroon, St. Anthony’s Resource Center, 500 Martin Luther King St. N, St. Petersburg

Take the first step to weight loss surgery and attend an information session. Jamii St. Julien, MD, will explain various options.

Weight Loss Surgery Information

St. Anthony’s Hospital Auditorium, Ground Floor, 1200 Seventh Ave. N, St. Petersburg 

Learn about weight loss surgery by attending an information session. Kevin Huguet, MD, will explain various options.

Memory Screenings
Tuesday, Aug. 14 and Tuesday, Aug. 28
10 a.m.-noon
St. Anthony’s Hospital, Main Lobby, 1200 Seventh Ave. N, St. Petersburg 

The screenings are offered to adults concerned about their memory health. Call (727) 825-1595 for information.

Smoking Cessation Class
Saturday, Aug. 18 
10 a.m.
St. Anthony’s Hospital Classroom D, First Floor, 1200 Seventh Ave. N, St. Petersburg

This two-hour class provides valuable tools to help you quit using tobacco including coping with cravings and physical and emotional symptoms. The class includes free aids to help quit using tobacco while supplies last. 

Weight Loss Surgery Information
