Steven Jackson, DO, Joins BayCare Medical Group

Board Certified in General Surgery

CLEARWATER, Fla., (February 28, 2018) – Board Certified General Surgeon Steven Jackson, DO, has joined BayCare Medical Group and is accepting new patients at BayCare Medical Group North Bay Surgery, 6633 Forest Ave., Suite 205, New Port Richey.

After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Health Sciences in Tulsa, he continued his medical education by completing a surgical residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo.

A member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Jackson is certified in wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and use of the daVinci® robotic surgery system. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery, upper and lower endoscopy, wound care and medical missions.

Dr. Jackson was a former member of the clinical faculty with the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Auburn University.
