South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation Hosts Diamonds & Denim Gala

PLANT CITY, Fla., Aug. 21, 2018 –More than 600 people are expected to attend South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation’s 22nd Annual Diamonds & Denim Gala, Sept. 27, 2018, 6:30 – 9:30p.m.  The event will be held at The Charlie Grimes Family Agricultural Center, Strawberry Festival Grounds in Plant City.

As the name implies, diamonds are a feature of the evening.  Guests will have a chance to win a diamond ring donated by Brown’s Jewelers in Plant City.  The reference to denim refers to the attire that revelers are known to wear.

Other highlights of the party include six food and beverage stations, a silent auction, 50-50 drawing, complimentary, framed guest photos and valet parking.  A live auction caps off the evening to showcase many featured auction items, such as a barbecue grill, a recliner, a mountain trip and more.  New this year will be an “Unlock Your Dreams” game to win cruise gift cards.

Since its inception in 1997, Diamonds & Denim has raised more than $1,000,000 for South Florida Baptist Hospital. The money raised each year benefits projects like the hospital’s ICU, surgery center and community outreach programs, as well as being able to purchase new patient care equipment that assists us in advancing medical care in the community.
