Rebecca Schulkowski Named Director of Operations for Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin Hospitals

She comes from St. Anthony’s Hospital
CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 16, 2018) – Rebecca Schulkowski, MBA, PharmD, FACHE, has been selected as the Director of Operations for Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin Hospitals and will begin this role on May 7. Schulkowski joined the BayCare Health System in early 2017 as the surgical services director for St. Anthony’s Hospital.
“We are pleased to have found someone with Becky’s experience and dedication to excellence to fill this vital role at our hospitals,” said Lou Galdieri, president of the Mease hospitals. “She is a passionate leader who is committed to guiding her teams to continuous improvement as they provide healthcare for our community.”
Schulkowski bring more than 16 years of leadership experience in both clinical and administrative areas to her new role. Before joining BayCare, she was the system director for perioperative services for Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va., which includes five acute care hospitals and three ambulatory surgery centers.
Schulkowski earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. After serving her pharmacy residency at John Cochran Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Louis, she returned to Baltimore to begin her career with Mercy Medical Center where she stayed for seven years as both a clinical pharmacist and then a pharmacy clinical coordinator.
Following this, Schulkowski served four years as the director of pharmacy including affiliated surgical centers, oncology department, infusion centers and care provider-based clinics at Cardinal Health in Newport News, Va.
In 2013, Schulkowski completed Boston University’s Pharmacy Leadership Institute and earned an MBA in Health Care Administration from Wilmington University in Wilmington, Del. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
