Sherief N. Khalil, MD, Joins BayCare Medical Group

Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Family Medicine

CLEARWATER, Fla., (November 1, 2017) – Sherief N. Khalil, MD, has joined BayCare Medical Group. Dr. Khalil is board certified in family medicine and cardiovascular disease, treating coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, valvular heart disease and heart failure. He is accepting new patients at offices in New Port Richey and Safety Harbor.

Dr. Khalil is a member of the medical staff at Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital and Morton Plant North Bay Hospital.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he also completed a general surgery internship, an internal medicine residency and a three-year fellowship in cardiovascular disease.

An accomplished author, Dr. Khalil has made numerous contributions to the Society of General Internal Medicine.
