CLEARWATER, Fla., (November 1, 2017) –Carolina V. Nelson, MD, has joined BayCare Medical Group and is specializing in family medicine. She is accepting new patients ages 2 and older at 7751 Ninth St. N #10, St. Petersburg.

Dr. Nelson earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida college of Medicine in Gainesville and completed her family medicine residency at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg. She has been involved in multiple research projects associated with endocrinology, pediatrics and cancer.

Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
