BayCare Laboratories Opens New Location on St. Anthony’s Hospital Campus

CLEARWATER, Fla., (March 8, 2017) – As part of its mission to improve access to care, BayCare Health System has opened a new outpatient laboratory location on the St. Anthony’s Hospital campus. The new location is inside the St. Anthony’s Medical Arts Building, 560 Jackson St. N, Suite 301 and will increase the number of outpatient laboratory locations on St. Anthony’s campus to three.
BayCare Laboratories provides general and specialized lab services for a wide range of testing. The latest testing technology and instrumentation are offered to help our team work toward providing timely results.
“We recognize that so many people have busy schedules and need to have their lab testing done in a way that best meets their schedule,” said Jim Cote, BayCare’s senior vice president of ambulatory services who oversees BayCare Laboratories.
BayCare Laboratories also has two other locations on the St. Anthony’s campus: on the first floor of the Suncoast Medical Clinic, 620 10th St. N., Suite 100; and in the Professional Office Building, 1201 Fifth Ave. N.
No appointments are necessary except for glucose tolerance testing and a few tests that require special preparation. However, online reservations can be made to secure a time for a lab visit. Patients can use BayCare’s Save Your Spot, a mobile friendly tool that can help reduce time spent in the waiting room. Visit BayCare.org/Laboratories and then click on Save Your Spot for more information and to make a lab reservation. Save Your Spot is currently only available at the Medical Arts Building lab location.
Most insurances are accepted. Free valet parking is available at all of the St. Anthony’s campus BayCare Laboratory locations. Hours are 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Medical Arts Building; 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Suncoast Medical Clinic; and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Professional Office Building.
