MPM Experts Host Community Health Seminars

Diabetes, Smoking Cessation, Sleep Apnea, Heart Disease

CLEARWATER, Fla., (March 3, 2017) -- Health experts from Morton Plant Mease invite the community to attend upcoming health seminars in April focusing on diabetes, smoking cessation, sleep apnea, emotional health and heart disease. The monthly seminars are free and held at BayCare’s various Morton Plant Mease facilities and community centers around Pinellas County.

Cindy Bray, RN, CDE, will explain how sleep, activity, stress management, tobacco cessation and a smaller wait can help prevent and slow the progression of diabetes.

Smoking Cessation

This two-hour class provides valuable tools to help you quit using tobacco. It includes four free weeks of patches, gum or lozenges.
