ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (August 9, 2017) --Rebecca Schulkowski has been selected as the Surgical Services Director for St. Anthony’s Hospital and began her new role May 8.

With 16 years of hospital experience, Schulkowski comes to St. Anthony’s from the Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va., where she served as the system director of perioperative services. Riverside Health System includes five acute care hospitals and three ambulatory surgery centers.

“After a national search, I am pleased to find a candidate with Rebecca’s experience and qualifications,” said Scott Smith, president of St. Anthony’s Hospital. “She is a proven leader who focuses on patient-centered care and quality outcomes.”

Schulkowski brings financial expertise and operational performance improvement skills to her new position. She also has a track record of building multidisciplinary, diverse, patient-centered teams that improved both outcomes and satisfaction.
