BayCare Named a Forbes Top Employer 2016

CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 4, 2016) – BayCare, the largest community-based health system in the Tampa Bay area, has been named one of “America’s Best Employers” by Forbes for the second year in a row and has moved up in the rankings. BayCare was ranked No.75 overall on the list of 500 employers.  BayCare is also one of only 25 employers listed in the health care category.

The employers on the Forbes list were chosen based on an independent survey by Statista.com  of 30,000 American employees working for large and mid-size U.S. firms, divisions of international companies, or institutions (including hospitals and government agencies).  Respondents were asked to rate 30 work related attributes including how likely they would be to recommend their employer to someone else.

The anonymous survey was conducted through online access panels.  The results of the survey identified America’s 500 best large and best 250 mid-sized employers across 25 industry sectors.
