Winter Haven Hospital Emergency Department

Winter Haven Hospital’s Emergency Department sees approximately 50,000 patients annually. It has 51 emergency beds with four beds for minor emergencies. The emergency department treats 17 medical specialties including cardiac, pediatric, obstetrics, orthopedics, psychiatric and neurology. It also has access to intensive care (ICU) and neonatal intensive care units (NICU). The emergency department includes on-site assessment and diagnosis for expedited treatment without time-consuming transports.

The emergency department can be accessed using hospital entrances off Ave. F N.E. The emergency entrance is to the left of the main entrance to the hospital.
