Low Dose Lung CT

Early detection of lung cancer may mean the difference between life and death. We offer a lung-cancer screening that uses low-dose CT scan technology. A low-dose CT scan can help us detect small and potentially curable lung cancer – in its early stages – for patients older than 50 who have a history of heavy smoking.

Insurance Accepted

Medicare and many managed-care providers cover annual low-dose lung cancer screening for eligible patients. If you smoke or have smoked, you may be eligible for a lung cancer screening. Talk to your doctor about lung cancer screening eligibility.

If you don’t have insurance, you must pay $99 at the time of service.

You must get a doctor’s prescription before you can get a low-dose lung CT screening, and many insurance providers require a physician consultation before the screening takes place. Ask your doctor if one is right for you.
