Patients at South Florida Baptist Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center can receive treatment and still take part in most of their daily activities. Serving the Hillsborough County community, we’re in the Charles and Betty Grimes Medical Arts Building at the corner of East Sam Allen Road and North Park Road in Plant City. We’re committed to offering the best care for our patients by helping them take charge of their treatment and maintain their quality of life. We provide outpatient intravenous therapy to ambulatory, self-care patients. Our facility provides therapy in a calm, peaceful and intimate, home-like atmosphere, offering a comfortable recliner, television and Wi-Fi access.

Arrival and Registration

Arrival

All patients must check in at the front desk upon arriving at the Infusion Center. At check-in, the following information is required:

  • Insurance authorization and insurance card(s)
  • Photo identification
Arrival Time

We know that your time is valuable, and we strive to make your visit as efficient as possible. Arrive early enough to park and register/check in before your appointment time. Valet parking is available for patients.

Patient Comfort

Snacks are available for patients. If long periods of therapy are required, snacks and sandwiches are available. Family members and caregivers can accompany patients throughout their treatment. Coffee shop and cafeteria services are available for family members.

This center is billed as a hospital department. Higher copays and deductibles may apply. Patients should check their individual health insurance policy to determine whether there’s a difference in patient financial responsibility for infusion services provided at this location.

  • Chemotherapy and biotherapy medications, including premedications (e.g., anti-nausea, anti-inflammatory, diphenhydramine, antiemetics)
  • IV therapy (IV immunoglobulin administration, iron infusions, hydration therapy)
  • Blood and blood product transfusion
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy and plasma pheresis, partnering with OneBlood for therapeutic apheresis
  • Long-term antibiotics
