About Doyle Tower
With the opening of the Doyle Tower, Morton Plant Hospital continues its transformation to meet the future health care needs of the community. This four-story tower features an additional main entrance to the hospital, a new surgical center, and women’s services and orthopedic units on their own designated floors. All areas are designed to enhance efficiency and to improve our patient, visitor and physician experience, and feature large, private rooms.
- The main entrance to the Doyle Tower improves campus access and offers a second entrance to the hospital. The 1st floor also has an auditorium, chapel, gift shop, Publix pharmacy and Starbucks.
- Surgical services is centralized on the 2nd floor, including private presurgical and postsurgical rooms, operating suites that are all equipped with minimally invasive capabilities, surgery waiting areas and surgery support. It also features a leading edge intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI) surgical suite.
- The 3rd floor hosts all women’s services including the new Sarah Walker Women's Center where spacious labor and delivery birthing suites and postpartum mother-baby suites provide a serene and comforting environment for expectant moms and their families. Additional services include three operating rooms designed specifically for women’s procedures, obstetric urgent care, and a level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
- The orthopedic unit on the 4th floor offers private rooms to accommodate patient equipment (walkers and wheelchairs), while also providing ample room for family and visitors. The unit has physical therapy and occupational therapy gyms, and an advanced training apartment to simulate day-to-day activities.
