Services Offered

  • Advanced Imaging, Diagnostic Testing and Catheterization

Our cardiovascular specialists use advanced technologies to diagnose heart and vascular conditions and guide treatment decisions. From cardiac stress testing, echocardiography and EKGs to outpatient coronary CT angiography (CTA) and advanced catheterization lab technology, patients have access to the testing and expertise that supports personalized care. In 2025, we performed more than 2,700 cardiac catheterization procedures. Our experienced team has worked together for more than five years to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation

Our dedicated cardiac rehabilitation program is located on the campus of BayCare Mease Countryside Hospital. We offer support and exercise for patients recovering from various heart conditions. Intensive cardiac rehabilitation is also available for eligible patients.

  • Cardiomyopathy Care

We provide specialized evaluation and ongoing care for patients who have infiltrative cardiomyopathy, which includes cardiac amyloidosis, genetic cardiomyopathy and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Our specialist uses advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic testing to develop personalized treatment plans that make symptom management a priority and support long-term heart health.

  • Coronary Artery Disease

Our specialists diagnose and treat coronary artery disease using advanced diagnostic tools and minimally invasive procedures, including percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). By restoring blood flow and treating blocked arteries quickly and effectively, we help patients reduce their risk of future cardiac events and return to the activities they enjoy.

  • Electrophysiology and Heart Rhythm Disorders

Our Heart and Vascular Institute offers advanced electrophysiology services for patients who have arrhythmias and other heart rhythm disorders. Our growing program provides comprehensive care, including cardiac ablations, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation, and ongoing device monitoring. These advanced treatment options help patients maintain a healthy heart rhythm, reduce symptoms and improve their quality of life.

  • High Blood Pressure and Renal Denervation

Our specialists help diagnose and manage high blood pressure through personalized treatment plans, ongoing monitoring and advanced therapies. For select patients who have uncontrolled hypertension, we offer renal denervation, a minimally invasive procedure designed to help lower blood pressure by targeting nerves that affect blood pressure regulation.

  • Peripheral Vascular Care

Our team provides comprehensive peripheral vascular care, including diagnostic testing and minimally invasive interventional procedures to evaluate and treat conditions affecting circulation outside the heart. These advanced techniques help identify vascular disease, restore blood flow, relieve symptoms and support long-term vascular health.

  • STEMI and Emergency Heart Attack Care

BayCare Mease Countryside Hospital has a high volume of STEMI care, providing rapid access to lifesaving treatment when every minute counts. Our team consistently achieves an average door-to-balloon time of less than 60 minutes, helping ensure patients experiencing the most serious types of heart attacks receive timely treatment and compassionate support during critical moments.
