A Fun, Informative Evening for Moms-to-Be

CLEARWATER, Fla., (September 16, 2015) -- Enjoy food, fun and prize opportunities while getting answers to your questions about pregnancy and becoming a mother at Morton Plant Hospital’s “Baby Talk: Preparing for Motherhood.” 

This free event will be Wednesday, Oct. 21 at the Bardmoor Medical Arts Building, 8839 Bryan Dairy Road, Room 120, Largo. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the information fair. The panel discussion begins at 6 p.m.

While pregnancy can be a time of joy and expectancy, it can also be filled with unknowns and questions. At “Baby Talk: Preparing for Motherhood,” experts will be available at a 5 p.m. informational fair to discuss a variety of topics including prenatal health and wellness, gestational diabetes, holistic birthing options and choosing a pediatrician. 

Those who are pregnant or simply thinking about it also can get expert opinions from Anesthesiologist Robert Rosen, MD; Pediatrician Timothy Vaughan, MD; OB-GYN Alexis Lipton, MD; OB-GYN Jorge Lense, MD; and Labor and Delivery Nurse Kaitlin Brennan, RN, at the 6 p.m. panel discussion.

Morton Plant Hospital’s Sarah Walker Maternity Center offers obstetric urgent care, labor and delivery rooms, postpartum rooms and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit. When the hospital’s new Doyle Tower opens in 2016, all of these services will be moved to a single level for the convenience of patients and families.
