    Dr. Zachary Murphy is an exceptional listener. He is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He had my medical records on hand and was prepared for my visit. I looked at my post-visit summary and I was impressed at how well he accurately summarized our conversation and included multiple details regarding the insect bite reaction and my past history with bites. He clearly answered my questions and explained my treatment and action to take. He is patient and really seems to care about his patients and a successful treatment outcome.

    • Dr. Zachary Murphy specializes in internal medicine and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Land O’Lakes, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama, and completed his internal medicine residency at USF/HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, Florida.

      Dr. Murphy’s focus is on occupational and preventive medicine as well as diabetes and chronic disease management. He's a former firefighter/paramedic and U.S. Air Force flight surgeon. While in the Alabama Air National Guard, Dr. Murphy specialized in aerospace and preventive medicine for F-16 fighter pilots. He's a member of the American College of Physicians and the Aerospace Medical Association.
