Sophia Mosleh is a board-certified physician assistant and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia, and earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from South University in Richmond, Virginia. Sophia’s clinical interests are perioperative care of lung, chest and cardiac pathologies. She assists with cardiothoracic procedures, including robotic lobectomies, wedge resections and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgeries, such as coronary artery bypass grafts, valve repair/replacement, thoracic resections and aortic procedures, and provides postoperative care. Sophia is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support. She’s a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
