    • Dr. Samantha Schaefer is board certified in pediatrics. She received her undergraduate degree in molecular and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She then received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Schaefer then completed a pediatric internship and residency at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She then completed a pediatric hematology oncology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Schaefer also holds a master’s of science degree in clinical and translational research from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Schaefer has contributed her writing expertise to numerous pediatric publications, including co-authoring of a chapter on urinary tract malignancies in the book, Kidney and Urinary Tract Disease in the Newborn. She is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
