Dr. Ronika Newbold specializes in family medicine and is part of BayCare Medical Group in Wesley Chapel, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and English literature from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. Dr. Newbold continued her medical education by completing a family and community medicine residency from Southern Illinois University in Decatur, Illinois. Dr. Newbold treats a range of conditions, and she is eager to help the wider community receive the care they deserve. She has expansive experience and high interest in preventative medicine and mental health. During her consultations, Dr. Newbold fully explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan, where she will actively invest in providing a course of preventative care that will leave a positive impression upon the patient. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, also certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, neonatal resuscitation and is fluent in Hindi. * Dr. Newbold will not refill any Narcotics or Benzaprine.*
