Doctor Bio
Dr. Mishah Azhar is an internal medicine physician with BayCare Medical Group serving the Tampa area, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed her undergraduate degree in molecular and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Azhar earned her Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency and subsequently service as a chief resident at Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida.
Dr. Azhar has a passion for primary care, health equity, medical education and delivering the highest quality, evidence-based care to her patients. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. She is dedicated to helping patients receive the treatment they need so they can enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle. Dr. Azhar is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
